General Update (April 18th, 2023)

New team members, community events, and more!

Howdy all,

We just wanted to provide an update as to what's happening behind the scenes. We're currently expanding team to provide the manpower that is needed to get CryptoVillages front-and-center of peoples focus again, so over the next week or so, expect to see new faces joining us!

We're filling some pretty crucial roles. One of these positions is a game economist. This person will help keep the CryptoVillages economy running smoothly and make sure everything stays balanced. We are also recruiting someone whose role will be very similar to what I do (focusing on growth and awareness). Plus, we will also be bringing on a partnership coordinator and a social/promotions person whose primary focus is to spread the word about our CV in whatever ways work best. Once our new team members are settled in, we'll organise a series of AMAs (internal and hosted) and other fun initiatives to generate excitement around CV. The strong, fun community is what gave us that unique spark originally and we want to bring that back. Fun events and competitions are a great way to do achieve this.

Finally, we're migrating the game servers from AWS, and once that is completed the staking page will be back online. But don't worry, even if the staking frontend isn't online, you're still receiving WRZN from staking your NFTs.
